Coffee Bar Host
Help create a warm and welcoming environment for YMCA members and guests throughout the day.
Coffee Bar Hosts prepare and serve coffee, maintain a clean and organized coffee area, greet members and visitors, and engage in friendly conversation. This role is especially important in helping our branch feel like a community gathering place where everyone feels seen, welcomed, and connected.
Schedule:
The Coffee Bar operates from branch opening until approximately 2:00 p.m. Volunteers may sign up in one-hour increments during available hours.
Kūpuna Food & Fun Volunteer
Help create a welcoming, engaging, and supportive experience for kūpuna participating in our Food & Fun program.
Volunteers may assist with preparing and organizing food items, setting up the program space, greeting participants, helping distribute food, carrying or loading groceries when needed, supporting social activities, and helping with cleanup after the program.
This role is a great fit for volunteers who enjoy connecting with older adults and helping create an environment centered on dignity, community, connection, and aloha.
Schedule:
10:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m. Volunteers may serve in one-hour increments during the program window.
Parking Lot Attendant
Help create a safe and positive experience for members and visitors from the moment they arrive.
Parking Lot Attendants assist drivers with locating available parking spaces, help coordinate tandem parking when necessary, provide basic directions, and promote safe movement of vehicles and pedestrians throughout the parking area.
This role is ideal for volunteers who are comfortable communicating with a variety of people, remaining attentive in an active outdoor environment, and helping keep the flow of the parking lot organized.
Typical Schedule:
Approximately 9:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. Volunteers may sign up in one-hour increments based on availability and branch needs.
