$17.00 - $22.00 Hourly**

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Youth Leader plans, organizes, leads, and supervises physical activity and academic curriculum for children in grades K – 5.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Skills/Knowledge:
Requires understanding of child development, group management, group work, program, and communications.
Plans and leads age and developmentally appropriate learning experiences in a classroom or group setting, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
Participates in planning and implementation of special events such as family nights and program activities.
Able to complete mandatory training.
Must be people-oriented.
Education/Training:
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
CPR, AED, and First Aid certified (training available upon hire)

**All 21CCLC positions are dependent on the availability of funds and continuation of the 21CCLC contract. The current contract provides programming for the following three school years (2025-2026, 2026-2027, and 2027-2028) with the possibility of extension for an additional two years (2028-2029 and 2029-2030).
